The Sons of the American Revolution, Athens Chapter, inducted new members at its March 12 meeting. Pictured in the top photo are the Head family members Mike, True, Chad, Freddie, Fred and Marsha. In the bottom photo are the Starr family members Marcela, Jonathan, Jr., Jonathan, Clayton and Ruenette.
Inducted were Mike Head and two of his sons, Chad and True. Also inducted was Jonathan Starr, son of chapter president Clayton, and his wife Ruenette Starr.
Dr. James L. Newsom from the University of Texas-Tyler was the guest speaker and gave a presentation on George Washington.
